I looked up one artist on the class blog to see what artist I would choose for the presentation. I randomly choose a photography artist named Hannah Whitaker. She is known for her colored photographs that vary in subject matter, from female nudes, landscapes, lunar eclipses, and close-ups of natural materials that emphasize texture over content. For example, she would capture the marble texture in an ancient Greek quarry or lava from Hawwaiian volcano.
