DAMIEN HIRST

Ever since I did a report of Damien Hirst in Sculpture I class at Indiana Wesleyan University, I fell in love with his work.  He plays with life and death concepts, and sparks controversy in all of his art purposes.  Also, Hirst explored gruesome subject matter, and incorporated those aspects into his art.  With his popularity rising in the 1990s, Hirst's showmanship became legendary.  From exhibiting dead sharks in formaldehyde to making prints of dots, he continues to inspire my artwork.

Down below is a link to Damian Hirst's Home Page about his most recent work.
